Ale Demogli
Ale is a talented and versatile guitarrist who started his career playing piano at the age of 6, and when he was 13 switched to guitar.
After being awarded with two scholarships at Berklee College of Music (at the age of 21), he spent some years studing at Berklee and working at Learning Center Office as a tutor. He's taken clases with Charlie Banacos, Pino Marrone, George Russell, Hal Crook, Jerry Bergonzi, Mick Goodrick, Greg Hopkins, Pat Martino, John Scofield, Ed Tomassi, George Garzone, Jeff Friedman, Dave Liebman, Julio Viera (counterpoint and composition) and María Concepción Patrón (Clasical guitar). A few years later he came back to his native Buenos Aires (Argentina).
In 2001, He returned to the states and he was awarded by New England Conservatory with the NEC Merit Award and the Best Scholarship.
He tored South America, Europe and Unites States extensively.

Ale is held in high regard as a composer, guitar player and arranger. He has toured Europe, North and South America, Brasil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, New York, Boston, Madison, Chicago, etc.
A clinician and former instructor at EMU, Conservatory around South America, Demogli has also been writing instructional articles on jazz guitar and improvisation for Music Expert, Music Shop, el Guitarrista and El Musiquero magazines for over the last 7 years.
He has taught jazz and imrpovisation for many years including clinics and seminars in North America (University of Louisville, New York University, Souza Lima Brazil, ULM University of Sao Paulo Brazil, Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris,
The Quinted recorded in 2008 the CD, Just Songs for AndesRecords.

In December of 2006, Ale recorded, for AndesRecords in trio with the virtuoso bass player Hill Greene (EEUU, bass player of Kenny Barron, Cecil Taylor, Don Pullen, etc), with the talented Argentinean drummer Oscar Giunta, and the master Pepe Angelillo on piano, as a guest.
In 3.30 you will find original music written by Ale Demogli and Hill Greene, these compositions explore the fusion between the New York avant garde, the old jazz tradition mixed with some south American rhythms. As well, some old Jazz standards tunes with a contemporary approach.
The last 12 years Ale´s main focus has been jazz, but his eclectic taste and wide interests which include East Indian Music, Mantras, Tango and Western Classical music, have led him to experiment different musical situations.
Also his approaches to East Indian music and philosophies let him to obtain the certificate for the International Alliance of Yoga as Yoga instructor.
In 2008-2009 he travel to India to study Yoga, Vedic Philosophie, Sancrit, Mantras and indian music at Dayanada Ashram (Rishikesh-India) for one month, after several weeks of travelling around india, he also went to Iyengar Memorial Institute (Poona-India) to study with the mytical Yogacharia Iyengar.
